To celebrate harvest we’ve partnered up for a fun event with our neighbours and good friends, Steels Gate and Lambert Wines.

Spend the day relaxing between all 3 wineries in the beautiful northern end of the valley, where we are all within a few minutes drive of each other.

At Sutherland for this weekend only we’ll be pulling out all bells and whistles!

We’ll have some delicious pulled pork or mushroom sliders from the wonderful Frosty, alongside our famous grazing boards.

We’ll have some new releases to try, and we’ll be serving delicious Aperol Spritz to keep you cool.

And for the first time, we will be opening up our winery and offering a Winemaking Experience (see below for details and bookings)

WINEMAKING EXPERIENCE

Join us for an intimate, interactive, informative and fun winemaking experience!

Starting with a short stroll to the vineyard where you will see and taste the grapes straight off the vines, we’ll take you behind the scenes into our winery. Angus, the winemaker, will give you a tour and explain the process of the winemaking once the grapes arrive into the winery. As we’ll be in the middle of vintage there will be plenty of interesting things to see and smell!

Sample some of the ferments and wines straight from barrel and tank, complimented with some paired nibbles.

The experience finishes with a tasting of our finished wines back in our cellar door.
